Mandy Thomas

I joined Ð԰ɵç̨ in February 2015, after working for a number of years in the voluntary sector in a variety of information, project and development roles.

As a member of Ð԰ɵç̨’s Research Services Directorate, I also work closely with Library and Learning Services, to implement Ð԰ɵç̨’s policies on open access and research data management. 

My role involves training and supporting researchers in making their publications and data open access. Currently I am project-managing the development of Ð԰ɵç̨’s research data management infrastructure and support.

Working together with colleagues in Library and Learning Services, we have updated Ð԰ɵç̨’s Open Access policy, and put in place a training, support and reporting service for Ð԰ɵç̨ researchers and management on open access, including funder and REF compliance.
